Recipe Unlimited opens ghost kitchen takeout and delivery location in Montreal

Vaughan, Ont. – Full-service restaurant company Recipe Unlimited has opened Malgam, in Montreal, its third ghost kitchen takeout and delivery location that brings together several brands in one location.

Currently made up of St. Hubert, Harvey’s, New York Fries and partner concept Sushi Taxi, Malgam offers both takeout and delivery. Similar to its sister brand Ultimate Kitchens, Malgam focuses on providing communities with access to concepts and cuisines that are underserved or unavailable in their local neighbourhood.

Here’s how the concept works: To order, customers visit the online ordering platform for one of the participating brands or the website of the delivery partner of their choice. Their delivery or take-out order will then be directly transferred to the Malgam kitchen to be prepared. Customers who order online can choose between going to collect their order from one of the numbered lockers at Malgam or getting delivered. Deliveries are made using Malgam La centrale bouffe hybrid vehicles or by a delivery partner. A counter is also available on site to order from the take-out menu of participating brands.

In March 2020, the company launched its first concept, Ultimate Kitchens. A fourth location is set to open early May in Hamilton under the Ultimate Kitchens brand.
